| Do not think that love, in order to be genuine, has to be extraordinary. What we need is to love without getting tired.

| people are disappointing and hurtful.
i dont think God planned for people to be friends for just a week, a month, a year, a decade...
God planned friendships to be for a lifetime.
it's hard to be thankful for a year of being influenced and a year of influencing someone else.
did we really make a difference in each other's lives?
i dont think this is what God planned for us...
but sometimes the actions of people disregard God's plan in our lives.
i can't do anything more...
i'm just hurt.
what makes things even harder to believe... is how little everyone else is being effected.

| so i got some good advice from a good man tonight...
it wasnt expected but it was definitely needed.
i need to slow down...
i need to read more.
i need to remember that people are definitely worse off than i am. i have a good life.
i need to look and see who stands by me, who will stick through all of this with me.
i need to look for the things that make life beautiful and surround myself with those things.
i need to accept everything that's happening...
it'll take some time, and nothing is set in stone right now... but i have a peace about accepting whatever life hands me. dont forget to let God bless your day! |
